John Calloway Quintet
John, who is originally from the Bay Area, began performing Afro-Cuban and Caribbean music as a teenager in San Francisco’s Mission district. John’s most noteworthy recording credits include his debut CD "Diaspora" released in 2001, and most recently, Machete’s "SF Bay," which was nominated for a Grammy in 2003, and which includes many of John’s compositions and arrangements. His was also involved on two other Grammy nominated recordings, Ritmo y Candela (1996) and Ritmo y Candela II (1998), both of which feature Cuban percussionists Changuito, Patato, Orestes Vilato and Walfredo de Los Reyes. John wrote several compositions on both projects as well being featured as a soloist on flute.

Gerry Grosz Jazz Kitchen
Gerry Grosz was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, NY. He started playing piano at the age of two. Gerry attended Wesleyan University, in Middletown, CT where he studied with the late saxman Bill Barron (Kenny Barron's brother), and started studying vibraphone under the tutelage of Muse recording artist Jay Hoggard. Grosz is quickly gaining recognition as a witty and melodic songwriter.

Don Pender Quartet
Don Pender is not just a sax player. He's a multi-instrumentalist who plays ten different instruments. His jazz quartet include guitar, bass, drums and Don, who plays piano, vibes, and all of the woodwinds, including oboe and English Horn. He also does some vocals. This quartet is very diverse, playing all kinds of jazz including swing and Latin for dancing.
