Fair Trade Coffee Project
At the Peace and Justice Table the first Sunday of the month, you will be able to purchase regular coffee as well as decaffeinated and organic. In the coming months you will be hearing about the link between faith and fair trade. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) co-sponsors this project with an organization called Equal Exchange. This organization purchases 100% of its coffee and teas upholding fair trade standards. It was founded in 1986 and is committed to supporting small-scale farmer cooperatives in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
